Druid City Brewing Co. Hosting 'Hops For The Hill Country' To Benefit Texas Flood Victims

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Druid City Brewing Co. will host a fundraising event to support relief efforts in Texas following devastating and deadly flooding over the weekend.

The event, “Hops for the Hill Country,” is scheduled for Friday, July 11 from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the brewery, with 20% of all sales donated to the Texas Hill Country Flood Relief through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.

The benefit is organized in part by the Junior League of Tuscaloosa.
With Kerr County, Texas, bearing the worst of the flooding, the most recent death toll was a 120 confirmed deaths and at least 173 people still missing.

The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country says funds will support nonprofit organizations, first responder agencies, and local governments actively involved in response, relief, and recovery efforts.
The nonprofit says it is unable to award grants directly to individuals or families or to fund repairs to private property or replace personal belongings, but is committed to channeling resources to the trusted organizations working on relief efforts.
