TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Eutaw man was killed Thursday morning in a commercial vehicle crash near Demopolis in Marengo County.<hr /><a href="https://patch.com/alabama/tuscaloosa/subscribe" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Click here to subscribe to our free daily newsletter and breaking news alerts.</a> <hr />The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the fatal collision was first reported around 11:20 a.m. Thursday when the 2011 Freightliner tractor driven by William M. Lancaster, 69, struck the trailer of the 2000 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by a man from Livingston. ALEA says Lancaster was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was injured and transported to Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis.
