Fayette County Man Killed In Monday Wreck On Highway 69 S
ALEA says a two-vehicle wreck south of Tuscaloosa resulted in the death of a Berry man, while a woman from Tuscaloosa was also injured.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Berry man was killed and a Tuscaloosa woman injured in a two-vehicle wreck Monday night at 11:47 p.m. on Highway 69 South, roughly two miles south of the Tuscaloosa city limits.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Dewayne Fred Earnest, 54, was seriously injured when the 2004 Yamaha Motorcycle he was operating struck a 2020 Dodge Challenger driven by a woman from Tuscaloosa.
Earnest and the injured woman were both transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, where Earnest died a short time later. The condition of the woman from Tuscaloosa has not been released at this time.
