Former Hale County Standout Joins TCHS Baseball Coaching Staff
Moundville native Danny Coleman has been announced as the latest addition to the TCHS baseball coaching staff.

NORTHPORT, AL — Moundville native and Hale County High School graduate Danny Coleman has been announced as the latest addition to the baseball coaching staff at Tuscaloosa County High School.

Head baseball coach Nick Richardson made the announcement this week, as Coleman comes to TCHS from the Pro Elite Academy, where he coached hitting and pitching to students of all ages.

Coleman has five years of coaching experience and recently completed his USA Weightlifting certification, as well.
"We are beyond excited to welcome Coach Coleman to the TC family," Richardson told Patch. "He was highly recommended by several baseball guys around the state. The energy he will bring to the program will have an immediate impact on our team. Danny is not just a great coach, he is a great person."

Apart from his coaching resume, Coleman was a 2015 graduate of Hale County High School, where he played baseball for coach Jeff Cameron. He was also a standout basketball and football player for the Wildcats.
Following graduation, he took his talents to Lawson State Community College, before transferring to Huntingdon College. He graduated from Huntingdon with a bachelor's degree in health studies and then transferred to Xavier University of Louisiana for his final year of eligibility.
While at Xavier, he pursued a master's degree in curriculum and instruction/educational leadership.
