Former TCHS Standout Named Gulf South Conference Freshman Of The Week
Former Tuscaloosa County Wildcat Bryson Hall had a big week for Delta State in back-to-back wins over opponents in his home state.

Delta State University freshman guard Bryson Hall — a former standout for Curt Weeks' Wildcats — was named Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week on Tuesday for his performance last week in a 84-83 win against University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). Originally a UAH signee out of high school, Hall opted instead to take his talents to Cleveland, Mississippi to play for the Statesmen.

Hall had four points on the night, in addition to six rebounds and two assists.
In a 62-55 win over West Alabama on Saturday, the Northport native shot 80% from the free throw line on his way to eight points for the game.

During his time with the Wildcats, the 6'8" Hall scored over 1,000 career points and grabbed over 700 rebounds. He was also the only representative of the Tuscaloosa area to be selected for the AL/MS All-Star Game in 2020 after leading the Wildcats to a 17-9 record.
Delta State is 3-5 on the season and will face off against Auburn University - Montgomery on Sunday.
