Friday's 'Live At The Plaza' Canceled Due To Heat Advisory
The City of Tuscaloosa has canceled Friday's scheduled installment of its free outdoor concert series due to a heat advisory.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The City of Tuscaloosa this afternoon announced that it has canceled Friday night's installment of "Live at the Plaza" due to a heat advisory for the area issued by the National Weather Service.

Friday night's installment was set to feature TL & The Headlinerz and The Locked Band.

A Heat Advisory will remain in effect for much of west Alabama through Saturday, with temperatures expected to near triple digits. On Friday, the NWS reported heat index values as high as 105 in Tuscaloosa.
It's unclear at this time if there will be a make-up date for the acts.
