Full List Of 2021 City Of Northport Resurfacing Projects
Here's the full list of resurfacing projects approved by the City of Northport on Monday, as bids will now go out to contractors.
NORTHPORT, AL — The Northport City Council on Monday unanimously approved a long list of highly-anticipated resurfacing projects for roads around the city, marking the first large-scale repaving project of the current term for the council and mayor.
Council President Jeff Hogg remarked that the list of projects is the largest of its kind in the city's history, saying "we are very excited we are able to do this and this is going to hit a lot of different areas and a lot of different districts ... based on need and usage. I think everyone is going to be very happy with where we're at."
The projects will now be bid out to contractors.

"Everybody should get a round of applause for that," Hogg said. "This is just the beginning of the good things to come for this mayor and council and we will do everything we can to make sure we get our resurfacing list back up to date where it needs to be and have a formal plan going forward."
