Heather Dill Named General Manager Of The Alamite Hotel In Downtown Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alamite, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in downtown Tuscaloosa, on Thursday announced Heather Dill as the hotel's new general manager.

The Alamite says Dill brings over 15 years of experience to her role and is poised to lead the property into a "new era of excellence."

“I am honored to have been chosen to lead this amazing team and hit the ground running to recommit The Alamite Tuscaloosa as a dynamic partner to this community,” Dill said. “This hotel was built to be 'of' Tuscaloosa, not just 'in' Tuscaloosa, and I am excited to see it become that.”

As the hotel's new general manager, Dill will be responsible for all daily hotel operations, including overseeing the guest experience, food and beverage outlets, advancing employee engagement, and managing the property’s brand identity.

Dill has previously held leadership roles in sales and marketing in multiple full-service hotels in the southeast. She is an adjunct professor in the hospitality management program at The University of Alabama and is also serves on The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama’s Board of Directors.

Additionally, she is an Executive Committee member for the Arts Council of West Alabama and is also a member of the City of Tuscaloosa’s Mayor’s Advisory Council for Cultural Arts and Tourism.
