Heritage House Coffee & Tea has announced it will soon close its North River location on Rice Mine Road

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Heritage House Coffee & Tea has announced it will soon close its North River location on Rice Mine Road, while the longtime Tuscaloosa culinary staple says it will continue to operate its other two locations.

Heritage House announced on social media that Saturday, Sept. 19, will be the final day of business for its North River shop.

"It is with mixed emotions that we announce our final day of business at our North River location," the business said in its announcement.
Until the closure, the North River location will operate on reduced hours from 6:30 a.m. until noon.

Heritage House stressed that the closure only affects the Rice Mine Road location and that its Riverfront and Town Center locations will continue operating with full kitchen service.
The Riverfront location is at 2370 Jack Warner Parkway, Suite A108, while the Town Center shop is at 700 Towncenter Boulevard.
"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support, laughter, and memories shared at this shop over the years," Heritage House said. "We hope to see you during our morning hours over the next few weeks and look forward to serving you at our other locations!"
Heritage House did not provide a reason for closing the North River location in its announcement.
