Investigators Respond To Tuesday Shooting At Hay Court
The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit says a man was shot and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center on Tuesday.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit has responded to a shooting that occurred sometime Tuesday at Hay Court apartments in Tuscaloosa.
Captain Marty Sellers told local media one male victim was injured in the shooting and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The victim's status is not known at this time and details surrounding the incident remain unclear as the investigation works through its early stages.

At the scene, several houses were cordoned off with police tape and investigators could be seen speaking with residents throughout the housing complex.
In front of one house, trash of some kind littered the sidewalk and appeared to represent the epicenter of the investigation.
