Suspect In Custody After Stabbing In West Tuscaloosa
Police responded to Herman Avenue Wednesday after receiving a call concerning a person who had been stabbed in the chest.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit says its investigators responded to the 2500 block of Herman Avenue in west Tuscaloosa Wednesday after receiving a call concerning a person who had been stabbed in the chest.

Captain Marty Sellers told local media that the victim is being treated for their injuries, but could not provide an update on the victim's condition. Later Wednesday evening, he also confirmed that a suspect in the stabbing is in custody.
