Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Commander Capt. Jack Kennedy said Monday evening that VCU investigators and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office are assisting the Brookwood Police Department with the investigation after the victims were discovered in the 12900 block of Alabama Junction Road.

Kennedy said the two individuals were found dead from what appears to be foul play.
Investigators have not released the identities of either of the deceased or any information about potential suspects.
