TUSCALOOSA, AL — JamisonMoneyFarmer PC, Alabama’s seventh largest CPA firm, on Monday announced its latest round of employee promotions.

Morgan Akins, CPA

Morgan began full time at JMF in 2014 as a staff accountant in tax and accounting, before being promoted to manager. She also worked as an intern for JMF during the 2013 and 2014 tax seasons.

Akins is a Tuscaloosa native who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in Accounting and has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.

Matt Shirley, CPA

Shirley began full time at JMF in 2014 as a staff accountant in tax and accounting and has been promoted to manager. Shirley worked as an intern for JMF during the 2012 and 2013 tax seasons.

Shirley is a native of Fayette and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in Accounting and has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.

Brennan Bush, CPA

Brennan Bush began full time at JMF in 2018 as a staff accountant in tax and accounting and has been promoted to supervisor. Bush worked as an intern for JMF during the 2017 and 2018 tax seasons.

Bush is a native of Tuscaloosa and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in Accounting and has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.

Crystal Lewis, CPA

Lewis has been promoted to supervisor after beginning full time at JMF in 2021 as a senior accountant in tax and accounting.

Lewis is originally from Center, Texas and previously worked as a grants accountant at UAB and as an internal accountant at Cheney Lime. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting from Texas State University and has been married to husband, Jay, for 17 years. They have a daughter, Chloë, and a son, Garrett.

Zach Romain

Romain has been promoted to Supervisor after beginning full time at JMF in January 2019 as a staff accountant with a focus in tax.

Romain is a native of Ralph and worked as an intern for JMF during the 2018 tax season.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Alabama.
