Jimmy Buffett To Play Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Sept. 16
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers are set to take the stage at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in September on the Flip Side Tour.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa can expect some changes in latitudes and changes in attitudes this fall as Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers will take the stage at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on Sept. 16. The stop will be part of the groups Flip Side Tour, with tickets set to go on sale for the Tuscaloosa show at 10 a.m. on July 23.

Buffett, 74, released his debut album "Down to Earth" in 1970 and went on to become one of the most successful musical acts in the world, along with equal success in his business ventures. Originally born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Buffett has famously called Mobile, Alabama home and used it as his base of operations for most his life, becoming a prolific force in music with respect to touring and recording.

Songs like "Margaritaville" and "It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere" are just some of the few chart-toppers fans might have a chance to hear live in Tuscaloosa in September.
His legions of fans, dubbed Parrotheads, are also sure to show up in big numbers for the Tuscaloosa show, along with other Buffet fans from around Alabama and the surrounding region.
