TUSCALOOSA, AL — A juvenile male suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting Thursday in the 2900 block of Azalea Lane in Tuscaloosa.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Captain Marty Sellers told local media Thursday afternoon that Tuscaloosa Police and VCU investigators responded around 1 p.m. to the scene, where they determined one juvenile male had been shot by another juvenile male.

He then said a suspect is in custody facing charges of second-degree assault and certain persons forbidden from possessing a firearm.
