Kentuck Art Center Promotes Bell To Program Director
Kentuck Art Center on Tuesday announced the promotion of Mary Rogers Bell to become its new program director.

NORTHPORT, AL — Kentuck Art Center on Tuesday announced the promotion of Mary Rogers Bell to become its new program director.

Bell first joined Kentuck in 2018 as gallery shop manager and moved to program manager in 2021, where she was praised for her leadership skills and credited with elevating Kentuck's year-round programming to a national spotlight with Kentuck's Boxes of Joy.

In her new position, Bell will become one of the main drivers in Kentuck’s programming and leadership culture, as well as managing the growth and production of her assistants and numerous volunteers.
"Mary has been a key part of our team for almost five years and is instrumental in the expansion of Kentuck's programming," Kentuck Executive Director Amy Echols said. “Mary demonstrated her dedication to working here before her first interview by making time the day before her wedding to interview with us. Expectations that she would be a high-performance team member have been met and exceeded by her many accomplishments. We are thrilled about her promotion.”

Bell holds a bachelors degree in studio art, with a concentration in ceramics and a minor in English literature from Mississippi College.
