A popular fixture in cities across the country since 2007, Cadence will provide small business loans to Boys & Girls Club of West Alabama members to set up lemonade stands outside the Jaycee Park Club site on Alberta Parkway on Friday, July 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Cadence says parents and mentors can download the My Lemonade Day app from the App Store or Google Play to access all of the information needed to plan, launch and operate a lemonade stand.
Lemonade Day for the rest of the Tuscaloosa community is set for Saturday, July 30.
Youth entrepreneurship is gaining momentum around the world, Cadence Bank says, with studies showing that introducing kids to entrepreneurial experiences at an early age makes a measurable impact on their future decisions related to education, training, life and work.
“Cities and communities that host Lemonade Day programs are making a difference in a positive, meaningful way: they are demonstrating their commitment to bettering people, society and the economy by supporting youth entrepreneurship,” said Lemonade Day National Director Debbie Nazarian.
