A Look At The 16 Current And Former Tide Athletes Competing In Paris Olympics
Here's a breakdown of the different Crimson Tide student-athletes who will be competing in the 2024 summer Olympics in Paris.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The opening ceremonies for the 2024 summer Olympics in Paris are set for Friday, with 16 former and current University of Alabama student-athletes set to compete.

Alabama's representatives will take part in five different sports, representing 14 countries, including two who are competing for the United States in track and field —Daniel Haugh and Shelby McEwen.

Apart from student-athletes competing, Alabama gymnastics assistant coach Justin Spring will serve as an NBC commentator during the men's gymnastics competition.
UA says this will mark the 14th consecutive Summer Olympic Games that Alabama has been represented, dating back to 1972 in Munich, Germany.
