Los Tarascos Hopes To Open New Northport Location Next Week
Here's the latest as Los Tarascos plans to open its new Highway 43 restaurant on Monday, April 25.

NORTHPORT, AL — Fans of Mexican cuisine in Northport will soon be able to enjoy the newest Los Tarascos location, after the Northport City Council on Monday unanimously approved a liquor license for the popular brand's new standalone restaurant on Owen Parkway.

Owners of the new location, which is right off of U.S. Highway 43, roughly a mile before the busy intersection with Highway 82, hope to have it open on Monday, April 25, according to Northport Police Chief Gerald Burton, who was on hand during the meeting to present the liquor license.

A popular fixture for years in Northport, the Owen Parkway restaurant will presumably take the place of the Los Tarascos location that has since permanently closed in the Winn-Dixie shopping center parking lot on Highway 43.
Hall-Taylor Construction is listed as the general contractor on the new restaurant.
