Man Arrested For Selling Drugs At UA Student Housing Complex
A 20-year-old man is facing felony drug distribution charges after police discovered cocaine and marijuana in a student housing complex.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — A suspect is facing drug charges after University of Alabama Police and the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force discovered marijuana and cocaine in a student housing facility on Saturday.

The task force said the officers were conducting a separate investigation at 202 University Boulevard when they observed a large quantity of marijuana in plain view inside the private room of one of the residents.

Agents then responded and discovered a large quantity of marijuana and 15 grams of cocaine.
Elias Ayari-Dias, 20, was arrested Sunday and charged with possession with intent to distribute a
controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana and two counts of failure to affix a tax
stamp.

Ayari-Dias was transported to the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where his bond was set at $30,000.
