"The scene was on private property, not the public road, so the Violent Crimes Unit was called to investigate instead of [the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency]," Kennedy told local media Monday morning. "At this time the investigation is still ongoing, but this appears to be an accident and no foul play is suspected."
The man killed was not publicly identified by name and Kennedy said no other information will be released by investigators at this time, out of respect for the privacy of the family
