Man Runs From Deputies, Prompts Search In Highway 171 Area

NORTHPORT, AL — Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's deputies are actively searching a portion of northern Tuscaloosa County for a man who ran from deputies during a warrant check on Monday.

TCSO says agencies are in the area of Atlanta Lane, Bone Camp Road, Sullivan Road and Highway 171 looking for Reese Chavez.

Chavez was reportedly last seen wearing red gym shorts, a black shirt and glasses.

He is described as 5'08", 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
