Missing Northport Woman Last Seen Near Greensboro

GREENSBORO, AL — Authorities are asking for the public's help locating a Northport woman who was last seen over the weekend near Greensboro.

Amy Elizabeth Gilliam, 44, was last seen Saturday, Sept. 12, on Alabama Highway 25 just north of Greensboro, according to the Hale County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said Gilliam may be traveling on foot.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, and a shirt of an unknown color. She was reportedly carrying a purse and a black tote bag.

Gilliam is from Northport, and authorities said she could be in the Tuscaloosa area.

Anyone with information about Gilliam's whereabouts is asked to contact the Hale County Sheriff's Office at (334) 624-3081.
