Mississippi Man Killed, Two Others Injured In Sumter County Crash
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a Meridian man was killed and two other injured when a van crashed into a dump truck on Wednesday.
LIVINGSTON, AL — A Mississippi man was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on U.S. Highway 80, roughly 12 miles south of Livingston in Sumter County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the crash occurred at approximately 7:38 a.m. Wednesday, when a 2010 Ford Ecoline van driven by Meridian, Mississippi native Jocquese Jamar Pace, 41, struck a 2017 Mack dump truck. The van then overturned and caught fire.

Pace was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the truck and a passenger were both injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
