Mississippi Murder Suspect Sought After Hale County Vehicle Theft

MOUNDVILLE, AL — Multiple state and local law enforcement agencies are working to locate a Mississippi man suspected of murder and vehicle theft.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, along with the Hale County Sheriff's Office issued the advisory Thursday evening after 22-year-old Edward Leon Bush Jr., of Greenwood, Mississippi, was identified as a suspect in a vehicle theft that occurred just after noon.

Bush, who is wanted for murder in Mississippi, is considered armed and dangerous.
ALEA described Bush as 5'9" and weighing 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a white T-shirt near the intersection of U.S. Highway 80 and Dallas County Road 45 in Dallas County.

ALEA also said the public is encouraged not to approach Bush. Rather, investigators ask anyone with information to contact the Tuscaloosa Highway Patrol Post at (205) 553-5531.
