Free MLB Play Ball Youth Event Set For Saturday At Stillman College
It will kick off Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until noon, prior to Stillman College's SSAC baseball game against Talladega College.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Boys and girls ages 5-12 are invited to Stillman College on Saturday to participate in a free day of baseball/softball, in addition to lunch and a ticket to a college baseball game.

The Play Ball Youth Event — hosted in part by Major League Baseball — will kick off at 10:30 a.m. and last until noon, ahead of prior to Stillman College's SSAC baseball game against Talladega College.

Participants will also get a free lunch, courtesy of Chick-fil-A.
Prior baseball or softball experience is not required, nor is having the necessary equipment. Participants are simply asked to wear comfortable, athletic clothing and shoes. Participants will also receive a Play Ball T-shirt, wristband and bat and ball to take home.

Registration will begin on site at 9:45 a.m. the day of the event, while pre-registration is currently available online by clicking here.
Launched in June 2015, MLB Play Ball aims to encourage widespread participation in all forms of softball and baseball activities.
