Multiple Agencies Respond To Large Fire At Northport Business

NORTHPORT, AL — Multiple emergency agencies responded Monday to a large structure fire at Richardson Building Supply, Inc. in the area of 9th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Northport.

A large plume of smoke could be seen for miles after the fire started and the extent of damage remains unclear at this time. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Once at the scene, fire damage to buildings on the property could be seen, but it was unclear exactly where the fire began.
