TUSCALOOSA, AL. — Fans of the Crimson Tide will have the opportunity this weekend to view the American Football Coaches Association's (AFCA) National Championship Trophy as part of the festivities Saturday prior to the home game against the Georgia Bulldogs.
The trophy is presented to the No. 1 ranked school in the Amway Coaches’ Poll at the end of each college football season.
The Crimson Tide has won the trophy six times since it was first presented in 1986, the most of any school.
