New County Probate Court Records Website A 'Game-Changer'
Officials are praising the offerings of the new public records site, as the county aims to provided a more accessible experience.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County Probate Judge's office has officially launched its new online records site, following a soft debut in September.

The new platform is made possible through a partnership with Assurance Software, which provides user with a more "customizable" experience. Other features include an attorney portal, advanced search bar, and quick search bar to quickly find certain court records.

“The last 18 months have highlighted the need for more accessible digital services, so we
are pleased to continue our digital initiative that we began last year” said Probate Judge
Rob Robertson. “We believe this will streamline the process for viewing our records and
would not have been possible without the collaborative effort between Probate staff and
Assurance Software.”
Supervisor of Records Myra Alexander worked closely with Assurance Software and referred to the new platform as a "game-changer"

"As technology has evolved, we have strived to stay up-to-date with maintaining
the security and public availability of our records," she said.
