New Principal Named At Woodland Forrest Elementary
Tuscaloosa City Schools this week announced that Woodland Forrest Elementary School has hired Teresa Croom Bivens as its new principal

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa City Schools this week announced that Woodland Forrest Elementary School has hired Teresa Croom Bivens as the new principal of the school.

She previously worked as assistant principal and literacy specialist at Southview Elementary.

"Woodland Forrest Elementary School is known for building community leaders, serving as one of our environmentally friendly schools, as well as the STEM school of TCS," Bivens said. "I am honored to be selected to serve as the Principal of Woodland Forrest Elementary School and continue in the footsteps of the many great leaders that came before me. I am also looking forward to a collaborative working relationship with the faculty, staff, parents, and students."
Students will return for the 2023-23 school year on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
