Nick Bearden Joins SmartBank As Investment Services VP & Financial Advisor

TUSCALOOSA, AL — SmartBank on Wednesday announced that Nick Bearden has joined SmartBank Investment Services as its new vice President and financial advisor.

Bearden will operate out of Tuscaloosa and collaborate with the bank's Birmingham and Huntsville teams.

Bearden brings nearly two decades of experience as a financial advisor and will be tasked with forging meaningful and lasting impacts on the lives of clients and the communities he serves.

Bearden holds a degree in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama.

Apart from his working in the banking world, Beard currently serves as the coach for the varsity boys golf team at Holy Spirit Catholic School. He also serves as vice president of the Transylvania County Endowment Advisory Board in Transylvania County, North Carolina. and as a board member of Caring Congregation, INC.

Additionally, Beard is a two-time past president and board member of The Haven-Homeless Shelter and is an active Rotarian who has previously served as club president and assistant governor of Rotary District 7670.
