TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit says a nine-year-old girl was killed Tuesday in an ATV accident in Coaling, <a href="https://patch.com/alabama/tuscaloosa/subscribe" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Click here to subscribe to our free daily newsletter and breaking news alerts.</a> The mult-agency unit's commander, Captain Jack Kennedy, told Patch that the accident occurred in the 1200 block of Hagler Coaling Road around 5:00 p.m. "The child was riding a side-by-side ATV on private property at the time of the accident," Kennedy said.
