No. 3 Alabama Swamps Florida, Remains Unbeaten In SEC Play

The Crimson Tide made easy work of the Gators Wednesday night to move to 11-0 in Southeastern Conference play.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team (21-3, 11-0 SEC) pulled out to an early lead and poured it on for the entire game in a 97-69 win over the Florida Gators (13-11, 6-5 SEC) Wednesday night in Coleman Coliseum.

The Tide rode a noticeably balanced offensive attack in the first half as Alabama went into the locker room with a 52-23 lead.

Per usual, freshman forward Brandon Miller led the team in scoring after a big second half push, notching 24 points and going 9-of-17 from the floor. He also grabbed 9 boards in the win.

Mark Sears also went 7-9 on the night on his way to 19 points.

The Crimson Tide will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 11 in a highly-anticipated road match against Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers, which will be the scene for ESPN's College GameDay.

Tipoff is set for 1 p.m.
