No. 4 Tide Trounces Tigers 106-66 To Move To 5-0 In SEC Play

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Up 59-22 at the half, the story of the day was a completely dominate one for the No. 4 Crimson Tide in a 106-66 win over LSU in front of 13,474 fans in Coleman Coliseum on Saturday.

Freshman forward Brandon Miller contributed 22 points in the first half on his way to a 31-point performance in a game that saw Alabama able to get ample playing time for its bench.

The 40-point win represents the largest margin of victory for Alabama over a Southeastern Conference opponent in school history.

Alabama (15-2, 5-0 SEC) will be back in action on Tuesday in Nashville as the Tide takes on the Vanderbilt Commodores. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
