No Injuries In Sunday Night House Near Northport
A home went up in flames but thankfully nobody was injured in a large structure fire Sunday night on Grandview Drive

NORTHPORT, AL — Carroll's Creek Fire Protection District and Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue responded Sunday night to a large house fire near Lake Tuscaloosa.

Carroll's Creek Fire Chief Keith Hamner told Patch there were no injuries, but the home on Grandview Drive — in the Cherokee Shores neighborhood — was fully involved when crews arrived.

Smoke from the fire was visible as far away as Rose Boulevard,in the early evening hours as the fire was contained.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
