No Injuries In Vance House Fire Thursday Night

There were no injuries in a house fire on Spotted Horse Road Thursday night in Vance, but the home is a total loss following the blaze.

VANCE, AL — The residents of a home on Spotted Horse Road reportedly lost everything in a Thursday night house fire that prompted a response from multiple local agencies.

Vance Police Chief Tommy Graham told Patch on Thursday that the home was fully involved when emergency crews arrived on scene. Thankfully, there were no injuries.

"[The residents] were with family at the time and not with the residence," he said, going on to mention that the fire was quickly contained and not allowed to spread further.

Graham then commended the different agencies that responded to the blaze, including the Coaling Police Department, the Vance Volunteer Fire Department, the City of Vance Fire Department, Coaling Fire Protection District, Green Pond Fire & Rescue, Antioch Volunteer Fire Department and volunteers from West Blocton.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
