Northport Announces Plans For Second Annual Veterans Day Parade

The City of Northport on Friday announced it will host its second annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, Nov. 11.

NORTHPORT, AL — The City of Northport on Friday announced it will host its second annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, Nov. 11.

In the spirit of the holiday, the event will celebrate the services of all American military veterans and provide a platform to express gratitude for their commitment to defending freedom.

The parade is set to commence at 8 a.m. at Tuscaloosa County High School Memorial at 2200 24th Street.

The city says that immediately following the opening ceremony, the parade will begin at 8:30 a.m. along Main Avenue and ultimately end in downtown Northport.

Northport also encourages local businesses, schools, and community organizations
to participate in the parade and show their support for America's veterans.
