Bethel Church of God in Christ will host its inaugural Christmas toy giveaway on Friday in an effort to make the holidays brigh.

NORTHPORT, AL — Bethel Church of God in Christ will host its inaugural Christmas toy giveaway on Friday in an effort to make the holidays bright for local children in need.

Bethel Church, along with Holliday's Helping Hands, will be at the church from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. to give away the donated toys.

Organizers say children must be present in order to receive gifts.
Additionally for Northport residents, Los Tarascos and Northport City Council President Jeff Hogg will be giving away toys to children Saturday at the Mexican restaurant's newest location at 4100 Owen Parkway off of Highway 43.
