The investigation first began in February after the task force received a tip about Miller, who has ties to Northport and Rock Hill, South Carolina. The task force says it worked with the Rock Hill Police Department to apprehend Miller in April, with search warrants on Miller’s devices leading investigators to identify underage victims of sexual assault in the Tuscaloosa area.

The task force says the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit’s Sexual Assault Section then obtained warrants for Miller, charging him with traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, electronic solicitation of a child, second-degree rape and second-degree sodomy.

As of the publication of this story, Miller was being held in the Bibb County Jail on similar charges, with the charges in Tuscaloosa County carrying a total cash bond of $150,000.

Investigators also believe there may be additional victims and are asking for anyone who has been targeted by Miller to contact the task force.

The task force explained that Miller is known to have used at least one other name with his potential victims. Those with information are asked to contact the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force at (205) 248-4750.
