Northport Man Jailed On Child Pornography Charges
A Northport man has been arrested and charged with numerous counts of possessing child pornography.
NORTHPORT, AL — A Northport man was arrested Thursday on 10 counts of possessing child pornography, following an investigation by the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force.

Chee Wei Tan, 33, was the focus of a search warrant by the multi-agency unit at his Northport residence Thursday morning, which saw him taken into custody on the felony charges.

The Task Force said the ongoing investigation could result in additional charges.
Tan was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail and his bond set at $150,000.
