Northport Man Killed Wednesday In Pickens County Wreck
ALEA says the single-vehicle crash happened Wednesday evening near Gordo.
GORDO, AL — A Northport man was killed Wednesday evening in a single-vehicle crash on Dogwood Trace Road in Pickens County — roughly four miles north of Gordo.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the wreck occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, with the victim identified as Garrett Edward Pritchett, 22.

Pritchett, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was fatally injured when the 2002 Dodge Ram he was driving left the roadway, ALEA said, before striking a ditch and overturning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
