Northport Pizzeria Set To Reopen On Saturday With Special Promotion

NORTHPORT, AL — A longtime Northport pizzeria is set to reopen its doors under new ownership on Saturday, Sept. 17.

California Underground Pizzeria, which is located in the Winn-Dixie shopping center on U.S. Highway 43, announced on Friday that it has been purchased by Northport residents Rusty and Lesley Selman.

"Our family love pizza, and we can't wait to serve your family the same delicious California Underground menu items that you've grown to love over the last two decade," the eatery said on social media.

As part of the re-opening, first 50 callers between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. will receive a 14" two-topping pizza for free.
