Northridge Ranks Atop List Of Best Public High Schools In Tuscaloosa Metro: Report

TUSCALOOSA, AL. — Northridge High School has earned the distinction of being the highest-ranked public high school in the Tuscaloosa metro area, after the 2021 rankings were recently released by U.S. News & World Report.

Northridge ranked No. 32 overall in the state of Alabama and No. 3,128 nationally, with a 91% graduation rate and an 18:1 student-teacher ratio. The school, which has 1,050 students, also ranked 25th overall in Alabama for math and reading proficiency.
