Northside Football Coach Sinks Hole-In-One At Ol' Colony
It was a very special birthday for Northside football coach Chris Hilliker, who scored an ace at Ol' Colony Golf Course on Wednesday.

NORTHPORT, AL — Northside High School football coach and athletic director Chris Hilliker celebrated his 52nd birthday Wednesday by hitting the links with some friends at Ol' Colony Golf Complex.

Little did he know, though, it would be a day he will remember for the rest of his life.

On No. 17, Hilliker would become one of the rare and lucky few to sink an hole-in-one on the par three hole. He told Patch he sunk the ace from 151 yards with a pitching wedge.
In a photo posted to social media, the longtime coach was all smiles as he showed off the white Callaway golf ball that made it possible.

According to Alabama Golf News, the last hole-in-one at Ol' Colony was made in May 2021 by Seth Terrell — also on No. 17 — with a pitching wedge from 178 yards. The hole is a downhill par three facing the lake, with a maximum distance of 191 yards and sand traps on either side of the green.
