Northside senior Erika Allen will continue her golf career at UAB, joining her sister and former NHS teammate, Karlee Allen.

SAMANTHA, AL — Northside High School senior Erika Allen will continue her golf career at UAB after signing her national letter of intent this week, joining her sister on the Blazers' golf team.
Allen was named to the Girls All-State Second Team by the Alabama Golf Association last September and has logged several multiple Southeastern Junior Golf Tour wins. She also reportedly finished seventh at the Girls State Junior Tournament and placed in the top 15 at the Women’s Stroke Play Championship.

As she joins the Blazers, she will also team up with her sister, Karlee Allen, who won a state title for the Rams in 2018 before finishing runner up in 2019. The elder Allen competed in three tournaments as a true freshman for the Blazers before the season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Erika Allen was a part of the historic Northside 4A/5A title team in 2018 — along with sisters Karlee and Ashlee (Class of 2023) — and was named the Tuscaloosa News’ Spring MVP for girls golf for her performance.
