last several years, we have closed this O’Charley’s location as of March 27," said O'Charley's CEO W. Craig Barber in a statement to Patch on Monday. Typically open for lunch at 11 a.m. during the week, calls to the Tuscaloosa restaurant have not been answered and it is now listed as closed on the O'Charley's mobile app.
The closure comes as the once-popular nationwide family restaurant, based out of Nashville, has shuttered locations across the country in the last few years, due to a combination of the coronavirus pandemic and the waning popularity of the overall concept.
O'Charley's now operates nine locations across Alabama.
