One Dead After Overnight Shooting On 11th Court In Tuscaloosa

Here's the latest after a shooting early Tuesday morning left one person dead in Tuscaloosa.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — One person is dead and a homicide investigation is underway in the 2500 block of 11th Court following an overnight shooting that occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Commander Jack Kennedy said once on scene, officers found one male victim had been shot. The shooting victim was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, but died from his injuries shortly thereafter.

Kennedy then said the investigation is in it preliminary stages and no other info is being released at this time.

No arrests have been announced in connection to the fatal shooting.
