Fatal 6th Street Shooting In Tuscaloosa Tuesday Believed To Be Accidental

The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene of a fatal shooting Tuesday afternoon that is believed to have been accidental.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is on the scene of what is being considered an accidental shooting in the 3300 block of 6th Street that left one person dead.

While the unit's investigators are on the scene per normal protocol, Captain Marty Sellers confirmed the preliminary assessment of the situation to local media Tuesday afternoon.
