One Injured, Suspect In Custody After Shooting At Tuscaloosa Apartment Complex

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa police are investigating a shooting Monday evening that left one person injured.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department confirmed officers were called to Regal Pointe apartments at 5001 Cypress Creek Avenue Monday around 5:25 p.m. on the initial call.

Once on scene, officers found one male had been shot and another was taken into custody.

The individual who had been shot was then transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment.l

The investigation was then turned over to the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit and no other details have been released at this time.
