One Killed In Wednesday Crash On Crescent Ridge Road
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is still working to identify a person killed in a fiery crash on Crescent Ridge Road Wednesday afternoon.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Crescent Ridge Road, just north of the Tuscaloosa city limits.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the crash occurred at approximately 3:54 p.m. when an unidentified driver of a Chevrolet S10 was fatally injured when it collided head-on with a 2007 Western Star tractor trailer driven by an Arizona man.

The Chevrolet reportedly overturned and caught fire, with the driver pronounced dead at the scene. ALEA says identification of the fatality is pending confirmation from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
The crash remains under investigation.
